Pitching Lessons

Carli asked if she could go on a date with me and so I offered up pedicures and dinner. She asked me to go catch her at her pitching lessons instead...whoop!! That's my girl!!

First Place League

Well, this little team sure has come a long ways!  Tonight we played for the right to claim 1st place and they pulled out a nail biter of a victory!  Way to go Troup Thunder!  Representing our district as the number one team!

Ava's Lost Tooth

Ava lost her first tooth (basically her permanent tooth evicted it) and Keith officially pulled a tooth for the first time...most importantly no tears and I didn't have to touch the tooth.

Annual Sibling Pictures

They say the 3rd child means less pictures, but here we go second yr in a row getting some pictures made. That's seriously a record for us!

These first couple were ones I snapped before we got started.  The kids really like Laurie Gould and she and her girls did an amazing job with getting "real" smiles out of the kids!

Galvaston Day 2

Ahhh, Day 2!  Lots more time on the beach with Grammy, Pa and Uncle Danny. Drew got a little more bold today.  We made some amazing sand castles and chased some more birds and a few waves!

Siblings

They buried Pa's feet!

Then Drew sit on them!

After a good morning of beach fun, we got cleaned up and met Dionna and her crew in town for a late lunch and to send Grammy & Pa off for home.

I didn't do a good job of getting pics of the cousins at the beach but that's b/c we all had so much fun!  We built some serious sand castles and had a lot of fun catching up while the kiddos played!

Galvaston Day 1

After catching up on some sleep, the girls could not wait to get out to the beach!  I think Uncle Danny enjoys their excitement.  We were all anxious to see how Drew would react.  I'm not sure anyone could top Ava's reaction to the first time she saw the waves!  Turns out, Drew wasn't a fan but like with most things.  He had to come to terms with the newness of it all and then he enjoyed himself.

Having Grammy there helped.  He was okay with the water as long as someone was with him and it didn't splash in his face!

Ava on the other hand hasn't changed much.  Water and sand and she's all about it.  She thoroughly enjoyed herself.  She takes after her Grammy.

Then there's these two and life goals...

Carli likes the water and sand but not nearly as much as Ava...can you see her in the background?  Carli and Drew dug in the dirt a lot together.

The sister's did their part to help Drew come to terms with the beach!

Then there's always Pa to help make things a lot more fun!  And funny thing, Drew was okay with Pa carrying him through the waves!  But only Pa and Daddy were allowed such the honor the first day.

Then Drew discovered the seagulls and he had a blast trying to chase them down!

The beach was fun and after a nice long nap, Grammy showed the kids how to feed the seagulls from the balcony.  That was almost as fun as chasing them on the beach!!
