Gifts for our Dads and Granddads

Pappy got his father's day gifts today!  Woohoo!  We worked hard on our little gifts this year.  Thankfully, Kayla was able to help me let the kiddos paint more than once in order to accomplish our masterpieces...and here they are:

I used my handy dandy cricut to cut out letters from contact paper and put on a canvas.  Then the girls painted over them.  After the paint was dry we pulled off the letters and got our masterpieces...

We also made Keith, Pa and Pappy "Survival" kits to keep at work or in the car.  We put things like eye drops, Tylenol, deodorant, wipes, Kleenex, chap stick, batteries and M&M's in it.  Grammy helped me work the "puzzle" of getting all our little goodies in the container.

We get to see Logan almost every day of the week this summer and we are all having a blast.  Logan decided he wanted to paint some camouflage for his Daddy.  I thought he did an really good job on it.  I added the letters after his camo was nice and dry.  Keith's sign is next to Andy's below.

Carli made her Daddy a gift at school too.  She was really proud of letting the teacher put paint on her hand!

We are very thankful for the wonderful men in our lives.  We can't wait to see Pappy in August and take a picture with him too!  We will have to settle for some phone calls and skyping until then.
