Carli Lost Her first Tooth

It took Carli 14 months and 28 days to get her first two bottom teeth...and it took her 7 years 4.5 months to lose one of them.  But have no fear, she held on to that tooth long enough for her permanent tooth to push that baby tooth right out of her mouth!  :)

Actually, when we saw the permanent tooth coming in we took her to the dentist to make sure all was okay.  We didn't want to mess up her full mouth of teeth by her having two rows of teeth.  He said all was well, the root on her baby tooth was basically gone and it should fall out soon.  He offered to pull it but Carli declined.  She wanted the school nurse to pull it so she could get a cool little tooth container.  Two weeks later and multiple trips to the nurse, she climbed in the car one tooth short.  I was slightly relieved b/c the thought of pulling a tooth really grosses me out!  :)

Grammy made Carli a tooth fairy pillow to put her lost tooth in and it turned out really cute!

 

The next morning Carli was $2 richer and not really snaggled tooth at all.  :)
