Cherokee County Livestock Show 2016

The girls enjoyed the Stock Show this year.  They acted like they were old hats at it!  Last year they were balls of nerves but this year they thoroughly enjoyed themselves.  We got up bright and early and took our rabbits to get checked in at the barn.  After they were checked in, we went and had breakfast at the donut shop then came home for a bit before it was time to show.

We showed at 3 pm, so we got back to the barn around 2:30.  Thankfully things were running right on time, for the most part so we didn't have to wait around as much as we did last year!

I wasn't able to go out with the girls while they were in the show ring but Keith was able to help carry their rabbits in and into the pens. 

Both girls are still in the Pee-Wee division so they basically answer questions about their rabbits and get a trophy for participating.  They can't really show to sell until they are in the 3rd grade.

We enjoyed the rabbits we had this year.  The girls did a bit better at caring for them and handled them a lot more.  We are thankful to our neighbors for all their help and most of all for taking the rabbits back after the show!  :)
