The girls talked for weeks about how they were going to be minions for Halloween. Carli would be Kevin b/c she was the tallest and Ava would be Stewart and obviously Drew would be Bob. So as Halloween got closer and I started trying to figure out how to get the costumes done, I said something to Carli about needing to get her some overalls. She was appalled! If she had to wear overalls she was not going to be a minion... and out the window went that idea.
And then Halloween came and we had no costumes but remembered our Japanese Kimonos that the girls had from when we went to Japan a few years ago. And so it came to be that they were their kimonos for Halloween. Drew even had a baby kimono that was a gift from our good friend Yuri when he was born. So I guess we may not have succeeded in the theme of minion costumes but we did have a theme! :)
On Thursday we went to Keith's work and collected a fair amount of candy while enjoying a maze and some good treats!
Saturday night we had our weekly meal with Grammy and Pa at Legends then were off to Trunk R Treat at church in Whitehouse. Drew had a fantastic time going from trunk to trunk and carrying his candy bag!
Then on Halloween day we were suppose to go down to the square in Rusk to check out Uncle Tone's Haunted Law Office but Drew got sick. Keith was able to rearrange his schedule and came home early and took the girls. They said the Haunted Law Office was awesome! Of coarse, Dad's don't take pictures so I had to take their word for it! :)
