Keith's Birthday Weekend

I could have taken you on a cruise, or maybe even skiing, we could have even gone to a Rangers game but nope, I found something better and it made you happier - I took you to the softball fields. I watched you play catch, pitch, cheer and pace...I watched you jump up for joy and almost bite your tongue in half to keep from yelling. I watched you try to take a nap in a roomful of giggling girls and watched you beam with pride when your girl did so good. It wasn't wrapped with a bow and didn't have a candle at all but I do believe #35 might have been the best birthday weekend of all. Happy Birthday Keith! I am so blessed to call you my best friend and for our kiddos to call you Daddy.

We spent Keith's birthday at a softball tournament in Carthage.  We even made a weekend of it and stayed at a hotel.  It turned out to be a rather chilly weekend to play ball!  So we were pretty glad to have a warm room to go back to between games.  Carli used the time to write down some of her thoughts!

We lost a couple but we won a couple.  Carli did a great job both in the infield and outfield.  They played some really good teams and had a great time too!

It was cold!  But Carli's siblings stayed with her and cheered her one...between naps!

We had a great wkd, even with the cold weather.  It was great to get to spend some time together celebrating Keith while cheering on some Sassy Slugger's softball!
