Guess What Ava Can Do?!

Yes, it is true! Our little Ava-Bo is an official walker now! She is hard to get on camera, and I decided if I kept waiting out a video shot, I'd never get it posted! Ava doesn't have a "Day" that she started walking. Rather, she has a week that she perfected her strut and a whole month where she teased us with two or three steps! Ava would walk for Daddy, Grammy, Grandma, Sassy, and just about everyone but her Momma. And since it is her Momma that records these ever important milestones, I refused to acknowledge her walking ability until she finally decided she would walk for me! Which she did last Friday night, June 10, a mere four days before she turned 13 months old!

Ava has pretty good balance and control of her walk, except when she gets really excited and literally tries to run. This has resulted is a few face plants, but nothing a little lovin' didn't fix. Watch out puppy dogs...Ava Ruth is on the loose!
