Snowflakes

We had a little art morning last Thursday and decided to make some snowflakes.  The girls had a fabulously messy time of painting some cut up toilet paper rolls to create their one of a kind snowflakes...

Our creativity got cut short by an afternoon spent at the Orthopedist office getting Ava a cast.  So a few days later, Shauntee decided to help us finish them up by gluing them together and adding a little sparkle (glitter) to the final creation.  I thought it was a grand idea....

And then Carli came into our room Sunday morning in tears b/c Shauntee had the nerve to finish her snowflakes and hang them up!  Seriously, Carli was not very happy with Shauntee at all...here we thought the elf was doing a good deed.  Apparently even little elves have no idea what goes through a 5 year olds head!
