Carli's Easter Egg Hunt at School

Carli had her Easter Egg hunt at school on Good Friday in the afternoon.  That gave Naggy and Pappy just enough time to drive in and make it to the festivities!  Carli was so excited to see them when her class came out to hunt eggs!  Thankfully, her teacher is a Grandma too and understands the need for a quick hug before jumping back in line!

Carli had to bring 12 eggs to the hunt and there were 20 kids in her class.  That's a lot of eggs to hide!  Mostly they threw them out on the ground and the kids didn't seem to care!  Carli even gave me a quick smile and showed off her Easter shirt before getting ready to hunt eggs!

Most of the kids headed off to the middle of the yard where the eggs were simply on the ground.  Ava directed Carli over to the corner where there were lots of eggs hidden among the Crepe Myrtles.  She hit the jack pot!

Mrs. Reid had quite the time trying to get an after the hunt class picture for all the parents.  I think the picture took longer than the hunt took!  But finally all the parents were satisfied and it was time to go back inside and count eggs and go home.  :)
