An Encouragement Book

We have a really good friend at church who has had to endure multiple surgeries over the last couple of years.  Before Thanksgiving she was going to Baltimore for yet another round of surgeries and our class at church got to together to write her and her Mom some notes of encouragement to read while she was away.  We wanted to make sure they had a couple of notes to read each day while they were gone as well as have a way to keep all their notes together.  So this is the finished project:

The good news is that despite Hurricane Sandy, our friend was on the last flight into Baltimore.  Her surgery was one of the last performed before the doctors started rescheduling others.  She still has a long road of recovery ahead but we are thankful that she is doing well.
