Ava's Birthday Party

The Saturday of Ava's party was a pretty big day for all.  Our kitchen cabinets were going in, lots of family was in town and well, we had no kitchen.  And seeing as to how we all wanted to enjoy Ava's party and not stress about it, we booked her party at Bouncing off the Wallz and just showed up to celebrate.  And it was great!

Ava was so excited about her birthday!  She could not wait for 10 AM to come so she could go party!!

We got there and she ran around and was so excited.  Then all the people started showing up and she realized that all these ppl were there b/c of her and she really wasn't so sure about that.  She got shy and didn't want to talk to anyone.  It was cute and pitiful all that same time!

Eventually she loosened up and played a bit more as long as everyone understood not to watch her!

The place was pretty awesome.  They had free arcade games and air hockey.  All the "big kids" had fun too!

One Game - Three Kids - Score!

Uncle Tone, Pa and Uncle Andy - serious competition

Finally it was time for cake and presents.  Ava's shyness made a slight reappearance but she let us sing to her and she did blow out her candle.  :)

I think she had a great birthday party.  After she got over being a bit overwhelmed she had a lot of fun.  She even managed to give everyone a hug and tell them thank you at the end of it all!
