Christmas came a little early in Amarillo this year. We flew out on Christmas morning, so Santa came to Naggy & Pappy's a couple days early. The girls were a little excited, they had to watch a little Polar Express with Naggy & Pappy before they could go to sleep the night before!
And when the girls woke up, Santa had come and there were smiles all around!
Santa brought a Barbie, ballarina dresses, lots of princess stuff, plus new pink jackets from Aunt Megan & Uncle Kevin. After all the presents were opened, the girls went to put on their new clothes and boots. When they came back to the living room they found a couple more gifts from Naggy, Pappy, Uncle Kevin & Aunt Megan...two Barbie 4 Wheelers!
We, of course, had to get bundled up and take those things for a nice ride!
Carli was a natural! She went forward, turbo fast and reverse like it was second nature. Ava was a bit more reserved but in her defense she did have on a cast that made it hard to grip the handle. She preferred to go off roading in the snow. :)
Later that night, Aunt Megan gave Carli a little manicure. Carli was very proud!
And Aunt Megan was brave enough to let Carli paint her nails as well. :)
We also got to celebrate a Christmas get together with all of Pappy's brothers and families. The girls helped make and decorate some Christmas cookies to take along.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas in Amarillo this year. Every year the girls have been in Amarillo at Christmas, it has snowed. I dread the year it doesn't! :)
