Santa Pictures...FINALLY!

We haven't had very much luck getting Santa pictures.  Carli is honestly scared of him.  When I asked her if she was going to go see Santa this year, she quickly responded, "If he is the real Santa then he already knows what I want, I don't have to tell him."  And I couldn't argue with that.  I was pretty sure Ava would go see Santa if not for Carli freaking her out about.  So, when Santa came to school before Christmas, I let Mrs. Chrissie know that Carli was not really a fan and it would be okay if she didn't go see him.  It wasn't a big deal, but if they worked a miracle I would be grateful.  And they did!

Ava had no problems talking to Santa.  As soon as he flashed a candy cane, she was all about telling him what she wanted for Christmas!

Mrs. Chrissie was great.  After the whole class had seen Santa, another teacher took them back to their room.  Mrs. Chrissie and Carli stayed behind.  Santa talked to her, and Carli cried.  They said she worked really hard trying to get the courage to go see him.  They asked her if Ava were there would that help.  She said yes, so they got Ava out of class.  And that is how we got Santa pictures this year...thanks to the wonderful, patient teachers at Oak Tree Academy!
