I drove less than a qtr of a mile, parked under the awning and found one very flat tire...
We were thankful it happened so close to Keith's work and that I parked under the awning b/c it was pouring rain. Keith's co-worker helped him put the spare on and all three kids and I cheered them on!
Turns out there was an inch long slit in the side wall of my tire! Boo - so Keith had to buy a new one but thankfully the tire place had a good used tire and we were only out $30. But then when he went to crank the car to come back home...the battery was nice and dead. So, he got jumped off and had to go get a new battery. At least when it rained down trials, we were blessed with good circumstances...ppl to help change a tire, a good used tire available and someone to jump us off with a dead battery...there's always a silver lining!
