Annual 1st Grade Play: The Incredible Reindeer

Tuesday was the big day for the first graders at Troup Elementary.  They've been putting on a 1st Grade play for over 50 years.  They performed for the school Monday and Tuesday they did a performance for the rotary club before getting to come home at 1 pm so they could rest up for their big performance for family and friends tonight!

Drew and I picked up Ava and came home.  Drew went down for a nap and Ava and I relived old times when we often had Ava/Momma time.  We cuddled and watched Disney then made some no-bake cookies and licked the bowl.  It was awesome!  :)

You have to get to the school early to get a good seat.  Thankfully, Grammy and Pa got there before us and scored us some floor seats.  Then we twiddled our thumbs for 20 minutes before the play started.  Drew had a grand time spotting all the balls, and Carli insisted on a selfie!

My good camera corrupted my card so all we had were our cell phones.  We got some pics but thankfully Mrs. Dean sent me some pictures from the performance on Monday, which were much better.  Thus, Ava's awesome blue pants!  Ava is standing by her buddy Grayson and her BFF Bella is just on the other side of Grayson.

Ava had a speaking part, she's in the middle of this picture by the kid in the green shirt.

And she NAILED in.  :)  I thought she did great!

Grammy and Pa came and got to watch Ava's awesome acting skills!  :)

Quick family picture before going home to have dinner with Grammy and Pa to celebrate another first grade successfully play!
