We usually decorate for Christmas the Friday after Thanksgiving. But this year we were out of town enjoying some time with Naggy and Pappy, so our Christmas spirit was put off for a week until we could drag everything out the following weekend. It was raining all weekend, and Dionna had brought back the kangaroo climber. So we dusted it off, and set it up in the living room for Drew while we worked on the Christmas tree. He was in little boy heaven!
We relocated our tree to a corner in an effort to minimize the damage Drew could do to it. He is in love with all the lights and ornaments. All our breakable ornaments are on the top 2/3rds of the tree and Drew keeps hauling off the ornaments on the bottom third! The girls did a good job getting the ornaments on the tree. Here's to hoping they have better decorating skills than their mother...
Keith managed to get the lights on the outside of the house on Sunday afternoon much to the girls delight. So we can now officially say, we have Christmas Spirit! :)
