This year they were put in different groups but did pretty well with it. Carli was so excited to pass the swimming test and Ava thoroughly enjoyed playing in the creek!
By Wednesday, the girls were tired and it is usually our hardest day! They both played games Tuesday night and got home late, then they had to get up early to get to camp. I seriously bribed Carli with a glass of Dr. Pepper to get her in the car.
It turned out, Wednesday was her most favorite day!! Carli even got up the courage to ride the horses this year (she fell off her first year and refused to try again last year!) Ava is my social soul and made tons of friends and as she said, "Even rode the horse without being scared!"
Thursday was their last day and I always love Thursdays b/c they have a cookout and I don't have to fix a lunch to send...except this year when my children informed me they would not be eating those nasty hot dogs and BEGGED me to fix them a lunch. So, I gave in and had to fix a lunch for more day!
Thursday night, Carli had a ball game. She had to be there 30 minutes early so Ava was taking a nap in the car and Drew was trying to figure out where the party was! :)
I was very proud of Carli b/c she had a great attitude and played very well. It had been a very long week for her and she could have easily slacked off. She did awesome and made us all very proud of her!
