Corn Picking

The girls got the awesome experience of picking corn and helping to shuck it with Grammy and Pa over the weekend.  Pa has really enjoyed his garden this year.  It is the first time to have a big garden at his house and the first time we have put up corn since 2010 after Ava was born.  That year we bough a bunch of corn from a local farmer and shucked and put it up.

The girls helped go pull the corn with the help of Pa and managed to do a really good job.  We only got a few really young ears.

Drew was a big help "driving" the gator!  He really liked the steering wheel!  :)  Pa and Carli did the shucking and Grammy cut and creamed it off the cob.  I did a little of it all whenever all our help would randomly leave us hanging!  :)

Grammy has a very full freezer of lots of creamed corn and it sure is yummy!
