A Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

We made our annual trip to the pumpkin patch after church one Sunday afternoon.  This was our second year in a row to go out to Moore's Pumpkin Patch in Bullard.  It was a nice day and the girls had fun with the activities they had and picking out their own pumpkins.

Keith and I even managed to get in a couple of pictures with our girls!

I just knew my allergy family would be all sorts of miserable after the 15 minutes of fun they had playing on the hay bales.  But they did not!  This was a welcomed relief.  The girls really enjoyed jumping off the bales.  I could not convince them to jump from one bale to the other like I did growing up...maybe next year!

Ava found some chickens and was immediately distracted by them.  She squatted down by the fence, held out her hand and called "here chickie, chickie, chickie!"  She was not very happy that they did not listen to her!

After our fun with the activities we got on the hay ride and rode out to the pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins.

We came home with four pumpkins this year.  Two really big ones and two smaller ones.  Before we headed home we managed to grab a cute picture of the girls on the painted hay bail.  One of my favorites!
