Oak Tree Academy Fall Festival

At the end of October, the girls school put on their annual fall festival.  It worked out for Pa to meet us at school so that the girls could show him all the animals and their classrooms.  They were pretty excited that Pa got to come!

I made the girls' skirts last year for the fall festival and with the wonderful invention of tights, we managed to get two years out of them!  :)

Ava's friend from soccer, Piper AKA Cinderella, brought all her farm animals for the kids to see.  She and Ava had a lot of fun riding the wagon together.  Piper's job on the farm seems to be de-sensitizing the animals to small children!  :) She does a very good job!

Pa helped Ava pet the pig, cow and kittens.  She and Piper had the most fun running circles around Pa making each other dizzy!

Carli's class came out after lunch.  Carli did not realize we were there and it was kind of neat to see her interacting with her friends.  Carli really liked the kittens and for Pa to tell her about the calf.  She thought the pig was cute but did not want to touch it!

Carli told me later that she was the only one to have a Pa come to the fall festival, that must mean she is really special.  I told her that was so true - she was very special.  :)
