Happy Birthday Grandma

Today is my beautiful Grandma's 86th birthday.  We didn't make her a card or a video this year.  But we have talked a lot about what a special birthday this is.  It is Grandma's first birthday in heaven.  Grandma is constantly on our minds.  Every time Ava prays, she thanks God for making Grandma feel a lot better and to please send her back to us b/c she misses her.  Carli will randomly tell a story about that time with Grandma when...

Grandma was such an important integral part of our lives.  Today we celebrate having her for so many years.  We celebrate the example she left us with and the wonderful Godly woman that she was.  We celebrate our Grandma and thank God for the blessing that she continues to be for our family.  We celebrate the memories we treasure and the tears that still so freely spring up when fond memories surface.  We still miss her - I don't think we will ever stop. 

Happy Birthday to my sweet, precious, beautiful Grandma.
