Ava's Valentine's Day Party

Ava was so excited to have her Valentine's day party today.  We practiced earlier this week on her Valentine day hair.  Since the girls chopped all their hair off in September, it's been hard to do anything other than pull half of it back.  But Ms. Patty & Aunt Carolyn shared some ideas on facebook and with a little bit of determination and patience on Ava's part, we managed to pull off a pretty cute hair do!

Ava thoroughly enjoyed her party!  She especially liked the marshmallows dipped in chocolate!

Each classmate took turns handing out their valentines.

Ava was pretty proud of her Valentine's goodies!

They played a game where they were suppose to use a straw to capture a M&M and move it out of the cupcake holder onto their napkin...thankfully, Ava doesn't suck.  Literally, she couldn't do it no matter how hard she tried.  We resorted to simply eating the M&Ms...which was a better use of time and skills anyway!  :)

After we were sufficiently stocked up on sugar in our system and extra for the road home...we took off to go get Carli from school and tell her about the awesomeness of the day!
