Our Ava-Boo is officially an independent reader! This means she has read and taken Accelerated Reader test on enough books to earn 10 pts. Most of her books were half point books. I have never thought of Ava as being one who loved school, but she does love a good challenge! She was the first in her class to become an Independent Reader. We celebrated with a bundt cake and she picked dinner, which was chicken nuggets and spiral mac&cheese.
