Kayla came over before Christmas and spent the day with the girls. They were all ecstatic to see each other. We gave Kayla a new frig magnet with pics of her with the girls on it and lunch out to Olive Garden.
Kayla gave the girls some coloring books, a jewelry box painting project and some artsy bracelets. All the art projects were done by the afternoon! The girls absolutely LOVED getting to spend their day with Kayla and I may have not worked part of the day too. We kind of miss our Kayla a bit. :)
The girls missed her so much that they literally invited themselves over for a sleepover with Kayla and Ms. Patty after Christmas. They didn't forget either. So last Saturday the girls spent the day with Kayla and Ms. Patty and stayed the night. Sunday evening Ava wanted to know if next time they could stay with Kayla for three whole days because she sure did miss seeing her a lot. Pretty sure Kayla holds a very special place in all our hearts!
