Well - Carli has made it 3.5 months without getting sick, but our streak has ended. Last night she acted like she didn't feel well, but was still playful at bath time and smiled at her Daddy. However, after 4 weeks straight of sleeping through the night, our little girl woke up quite cranky at 2:30 this morning. She was all stuffy and coughing. We did some snot suctioning and changed the diaper, then nursed and she went back to sleep. This morning though it was more of the same and she was pulling on her ear, so off to the doctor we went. The good news is that we don't have an ear infection. The bad news is that she has a cold and is miserable. Poor baby.

Do you think she is teething? Andrew always pulls on his ear and gets congested, and runs a fever when he is teething.
Saline drops a couple of minutes before suctioning helps get a little more gunk out. Shaye always hated it, but it was worth it to fight her and get her cleared up. They also make Baby Vic's, which may or may not have helped her much, but I liked having something to help her sleep!
I know it's miserable. Cuddle, cuddle, cuddle. That's good medicine for mommy, too. : )
