She's Here!!

Carli arrived at 1:23 this afternoon, or somewhere close to that. She's 8 lbs 4 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. Everyone is doing great, at least as well as could be expected. We're making it through the first feeding, then she's off to a nap or a bath, whichever comes first...

I would post pictures, but didn't bring the connector to the computer, so you'll have to deal with it. ha. Thanks for all your prayers! Resa is doing good, but really sore!

I talked to Grandma King a few minutes ago and started crying...I'm so jealous of everyone who gets to see her today. I wish I could be there! I'm so glad everyone is safe and doing well. Can't wait to see pics!!!

Congratulations!! And Resa, don't be afraid to take the pain pills they offer -- and always say your pain is at a 10 to ensure they aren't just slipping you a prescription-strength ibuprofen. A tip from one mom to another...

Have other questions? Just call.
