We have a lot of leaves in our front yard and we usually either run the lawn mower over them to chip them up or actually rake them up and bag them. But this year the girls have thoroughly enjoyed making piles of leaves and then rolling and jumping in them. Really, we could not bring ourselves to take away such a valuable source of joy for our children. Given the holiday season, we made the most of what God blessed us with and made a Christmas tree of leaves and added a couple of very special stars to the top...
And then our stars rebelled and fun ensued...
Fun was had by all...
And Carli even took a decent picture of Keith and I.
So I helped Ava take a picture of Carli and Keith.
Two weeks later, and our pile of leaves still somewhat resembles a Christmas tree...at least we didn't burn the leaves in the driveway! :)
