Fourth of July at the Lake

We had so much fun at the lake on Sunday of the fourth of July weekend. So much so, that I forgot to take pictures! Oops!

Our Sunday started off way early, but it was one of those days where we were thankful our girls woke up early b/c Keith and I were so tired we would have slept through church. But we didn't, the girls had us up and at church like clock work - bless them. :) After lunch with some friends, it was family nap time. I think this is the first time since Ava has been born that we all four laid down and slept for almost two hours! It was glorious!

After naps, we loaded up and headed out to the lake for some family time, food and fireworks. The lakehouse looked awesome - and I'm not partial at all! :) We got there just in time for the girls to dive in the lake with their uncles and Grammy. They loved it! Cousin Logan joined the fun and that just made everything complete.

After about an hour, the rest of the family started showing up. We enjoyed some awesome company and some yummy food. Our good friends, David, Kori and Kenzie even came out. Cousin Dionna announced she was expecting and due next Feb! We got to meet our new cousin, Courtney. It was a good day.

Night fall finally came and the lake sponsored some fireworks. But Uncle Tone went out and got some fireworks to shoot off too. He got some sparklers for the little ones - which they loved...

David and Kenzie

The fireworks Uncle Tone got were really good. Kenzie was hilarious. She reacted to every "boom" and would call out that "That scared me!" To which her Daddy would reply, "Your okay!" Ha!

It was an awesome fourth of July for our family. We spent Monday at home and then had dinner with the Koewns. It was a great weekend!
