Sunday was friends day at church and we had a great day b/c Ms. Patty, Kayla and the Tyer's came to church with us! Drew enjoyed the extra attention from Ms. Patty and Kayla and even stole a nap and cuddles from Kayla!
Monday morning we were going about our usual daily chores and then Drew rocked nap time taking a three hour nap! I was shocked and quite productive... but then he woke up and felt warm. And when I finally took his temp, it was 102. By 4:30 with ibuprofen he still had a 102 fever, and so we only made it five days without having a sick kid. :(
Drew fought high fevers and vomiting for two days then it turned into diarrhea for what the doctor warned us could be up to 10 days! Oiy. It was apparent that Drew got Ava's virus and it was rough.
Drew kicked Keith out of our room b/c he was refusing to eat or drink so he constantly was nursing. It was a pretty rough week of no sleep for us both. We were thankful for Zofran which helped keep the vomiting at bay. Especially since he had nothing in his tummy to vomit up. One thing is for sure, when the Hays' kids get sick we go big.
