From Sunday afternoon to Monday when we got to the doctor, Carli was not feeling good at all! She had a horrible sore throat, high fever and lots of drainage. The doctor swore it was classic strep symptoms and just knew the quick test would be positive.
But the quick test was negative. The doc decided they had a bad swab and gave us a new antibiotic. Poor baby - she and strep have not seen eye to eye this semester - maybe 3rd time around we will get it beat!
She was pretty bummed not to be able to go to school and turn in her Peacock turkey. I thought she did an awesome job of disguising her turkey to look like a peacock. She didn't get any help from Keith or I on her idea or execution of it. :)
