Both my girls have blue eyes and they use to whine all the time in the car b/c the sunlight hurt their eyes. I never understood this b/c I can't stand sunglasses and never have worn them. But the doctor explained that blue eyed folks are more sensitive to sunlight and their whines and cries were legit. Ever since then, I have made an effort to make sure they have sun glasses, hats and even made curtains for the car to help keep the sun out of their eyes.
Now that Carli is playing a lot more softball, she's worn sunglasses on the field a lot but she still complained about the sun. Keith put on the glasses we had spent a pretty penny on and declared they were worthless so we started looking for something else and came across this nifty facemask! We immediately put in an order and it arrived today. Carli was pretty excited and she wore it while we practiced her pitching. After getting it adjusted "just right" on her head, she declared it was awesome and even kept the wind from bothering her!
