Chuy never has cared much for kids, but he and the girls have a mutual respect for each other. He lets them pet him and they will give him a treat. :) It's not that bad, but Chuy is not the "kid" dog. However, he is and has always been the protector. From the moment we brought Carli home, he was in the bathroom with every bath and in the bedroom with every bedtime story. Even today he lays at the end of the girls beds while they go to sleep. So it was no surprise that I walked into the bedroom the other day to find Chuy watching over Drew while he slept. He takes his job very seriously!
