Carli and Ava have been so excited throughout my whole pregnancy to meet their baby brother. They did so good last Wednesday waiting to meet him and hopefully not driving everyone nuts in the waiting room! When they finally met their new sibling, they were beyond happy and so proud. You can just see it in their eyes!
On Thursday they came to visit before their tball game and then came back after and both were dying to have a chance to hold their brother again. Seems like I will be having a lot of help around the house!
As soon as Drew got home on Friday, it took no time for the girls to insist on cuddling with him and giving him extra love!
Bless his heart, so far he is a heavy sleeper which is going in the girls favor for being able to hold him for long periods of time - and they aren't very still! But they sure do love getting to "help" take care of him!
Ava has said all along that she would be the one to sing Drew lullabies and put him to sleep. Carli would help feed him (so far this has meant Carli keeps me company while I nurse) and Daddy changes dirty diaper - and he has done his share already! But capturing Ava sing to Drew the other day is one of my favorites so far...
