Playroom - Check!

Our playroom has evolved a lot in the four months we have been in our house.  It actually started in a whole other room.  We ended up relocating it closer to the office so I could keep a better eye on the girls after the whole haircutting incident!  We had to paint the new room, and we made due for a while.

We had to keep red in the room since that was the color of the Pottery Barn Kitchen set but I was tired of the red, black and white theme.  So we decided to give grey, mustard yellow and red a shot and I think it turned out really good!

First, we worked on organizing the toys.  Keith built some shelves in the walk-in closet and then I took several cardboard boxes and wrapped them in some shelf paper then added labels.  This has actually worked very well for the girls.  They have done a much better job of picking up their toys.

We had originally planned to build a murphy bed in the playroom but we found one on Craigslist and that saved us a lot of time and effort.  So the playroom got reorganized again and finally we can call it done.  Stuff on the wall, bookcases hung and toys organized.  Perfecto!  :)

Murphy Bed would have gone between the bookcases.
